Education

We deliver experience- and inquiry-based education to develop our students’ curiosity and connection to the world around them.

That means:

  • Grades kindergarten to grade 12 learn with a curriculum modelled after the International Baccalaureate (I.B.) and participate in extracurricular activities

  • Students receive academic, physical, emotional, social and cultural development

  • Our school community is filled with intelligent, creative and engaged students with strong community values

  • Classes are led by qualified teachers with B.Eds and are professional developed by internationally trained educators

In India

More than 1/3 of the country cannot read or write.

30% of youth are excluded from education, employment and training.

Nearly 56% of primary school students who are marginalized drop out before grade 10.

For every 100 boys enrolled in secondary education, there are 81 girls enrolled.

At GPS

On average, 100% of our students are literate in English and Tamil according to their grade level.

100% youth have equal access to education and career readiness training.

100% of our grade 10’s have passed their state exams.

There is an equal gender ratio among our students.

“We don’t impose our values. We strive to bring best practices in education and work with the community to create a very unique, respectful, and transformative school experience.” - Jim Brickell, Principal of GPS
