GPS honours Dr. Flynn and the Flynn Foundation for their generous legacy gift of a beautiful new sports arena.
“It fell to me after Dr. Flynn’s pasing to continue his support for the work of VCF at GPS. On September 15, 2017 I was transformed. Meeting Jim Brickell and hearing his vision - being greeted in almost perfect English by the tiniest to the most senior students - all them smiling, happy and immensely proud of their school. The enthusiasm was infectious.
I saw the opportunity for the Flynn Foundation to add a new dimension to the facilities by providing a sports field and complex of an equivalent standard to the existing school building. The special “buzz” I get is that by supporting the work of the Foundation and GPS, I have access to and the benefit of their amazing organization and skills for my project, which they have wholeheartedly embraced.
Through this project I shall have the privilege, on the completion of the Flynn Sports, and for long into the future, of contributing to the transformation of the students of the Global pathways School benefiting themselves, their broader community at Chettipalayam and indeed India itself.”
